Reducing the Risk of Falls 

Falls are a serious concern for seniors, but the good news is they can often be prevented by taking some simple precautions.

Did you know?

  • Falls are the leading cause of injuries and fatalities among older adults (65 years or older) in the United States
  • They account for over 120,000 visits annually in California to the emergency department

The Novato Fire District wants to help you stay safe and independent in your own home by offering the following fall prevention tips:
