Effective July 1, 2014, Novato Fire Protection District joined the Fire Agencies Self Insurance System.  On July 1, 2023, FASIS became Fire Risk Management Services. 

The Actuarial Review of the Self-Insured Workers' Compensation Program provides outstanding liabilities as of June 30 each fiscal year for claims with dates of loss prior to July 1, 2014.
