Below are listings of ordinances issued by the Novato Fire District Board of Directors on matters concerning the Fire Loss Management Division.

2022-1 - An ordinance of the Novato fire protection district adopting and making local amendments to the 2022 edition of the California fire code and appendix a of the 2021 international wildland-urban interface code, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in the Novato fire protection district providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; repealing ordinance no. 2019-2 of the Novato fire protection district and all other ordinances or parts of laws in conflict therewith.

2016-1 - Adopting and modifying the California Fire Code, International Fire code, and Appendix A of the international wildland urban interface code prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion; providing for the issuance of permits for hazardous uses or operations; and define the powers and duties of the risk reduction prevention and mitigation division and officers.
